customized private lessons

What follows are some basic packages, but variations are always available.

Consider these guidelines for private lessons, but not strict packages. The Pay-As-You-Go system allows dog owners (you) and trainer to closely monitor progress. Often times fewer lessons than those listed are necessary.

And remember... no problem is too small.

Puppy Program

For under 1 year olds who have never had basic obedience training. 8 lessons introduce proper ranking (the one with the thumbs is the leader!)

Behaviors addressed: Chewing, Nipping, Jumping, Housetraining, Sit, Down, Stay, Loose Leash Walking, Heel, House Manners (Wait, Off, Go lay down).

Manners Program

For adult dogs who have never had basic obedience training or for those looking for a refresher. 4 lessons implement proper leadership by re-ranking (who's got the thumbs?)

Behaviors addressed: Chewing, Jumping, Door or Fence Bolting, Pulling, Sit-stay, Down-stay, Loose leash walking, Heel, House Manners (Wait, Off, Go lay down).

Behavior Modification

Number of lessons varies depending on the degree of problem to be determined at initial evaluation. Not to exceed 6 lessons. Behaviors addressed:

Separation Anxiety -- If your dog is destructive, self-mutilates, or whines and barks, he/she needs to learn it's okay to be alone.

Aggression -- If your dog barks, snarls, growls, snaps or becomes aggressive at 1) the sight of other dogs or people 2) at a person (the owner) or another dog when trying to take something from the dog (food bowl, chew toy, etc.)

Sibling Rivalry -- In a multiple dog home (2 dogs or more) sometimes the dogs bicker and pick on one another. With proper pack ranking and a couple of lessons I can help your curb their disputes.

24 hour notice is requested to change a lesson.
